Numidia Photography / Troy & Upstate New York

Wedding photography
in Troy, New York.

Your day. Your people. Your story.

I’m Ahmed Seridi, the photographer behind Numidia Photography. Based in Troy, I photograph weddings in Albany, Schenectady and across the Capital Region, with travel throughout Upstate New York. My work brings together natural portraits, thoughtful light and the candid moments that make the celebration yours.

I also serve Saratoga Springs and Lake George, and travel across the Hudson Valley, Catskills and wider Upstate New York region. Travel arrangements are part of the inquiry conversation.

Troy venues I’ve photographed.

I’ve photographed weddings at Brown’s Revolution Hall and Franklin Plaza here in Troy. Planning your day at either venue? Tell me your date, which spaces you’re using, and whether your ceremony and reception are together, so we can discuss the photographs around your plans.

Planning the photographs

Make room for the day you’re actually planning.

A ceremony in Troy and a reception elsewhere in the Capital Region need a different photo plan from a celebration at one venue. Share the places, people and moments that matter to you; we can talk through how the photography fits around them.

Time together, without the rush.

Include preparation, the ceremony and travel between locations before choosing a portrait time. A short list of family groups helps keep the people you need together and leaves room to return to your guests.

A plan for the light and weather.

Check the daylight available on your date and discuss an indoor or covered portrait option with your venue. Your backup should work for the people in the photographs as well as the setting.

Plan for rain and shorter days

A conversation with your photographer.

Tell me your date, ceremony and reception locations, and what you want to remember most. If the timing or venue is still taking shape, share what you know so we can discuss the next questions together.

Before we begin

A few things
you might wonder.

Where do you photograph weddings?

Numidia Photography is based in Troy, New York. I serve couples across Upstate New York, from the Hudson Valley and Catskills through the Capital Region, Saratoga, the Adirondacks and North Country, Central New York, the Finger Lakes and Western New York. Send your wedding date and venue so we can discuss availability, coverage and travel.

How would you describe your photography?

My work brings together natural portraits, an eye for beautiful light, and the unguarded moments in between. This collection shows both the quieter moments and the energy of the celebration.

How do we check availability?

Start with an inquiry. Share your date, venue, and a little about your wedding. We can then discuss availability, coverage, and what matters most to you.

Can we plan family portraits as well as candid photographs?

Yes. My wedding work includes both natural portraits and candid moments. Before the day, discuss the family groups that matter to you and where they fit in the schedule, alongside time for the ceremony, your guests and the reception.

What if our ceremony and reception are in different places?

Include both locations when you inquire. Travel, parking and the walk into each venue all affect the time available for photographs. We can discuss your ceremony time, portrait priorities and the journey between locations before deciding on coverage.

All of our family and friends at the wedding commented on how great he was, and we have already passed on his details to other friends and family. Ahmed clearly has a huge passion for photography, which made the day even more special for us. If we need a photographer in the area in future, we will 100% use Numidia Photography again!”

We are so thankful we found Ahmed to take photos for our wedding. He was extremely collaborative and responsive to our needs.

Great experience! Very professional and took great shots. Stayed as long as needed to get all the operator shots my future mother-in-law wanted. Did so with a smile!
